The links is situated on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. The combination of bracing air and wind from the sea is one of the enduring attractions for golfers who challenge their skills on this magnificent championship course.

Return to Limerick or Ennis for overnight.

DAY 5:

Full Irish Breakfast at your hotel. Today you will travel southwest to the atmospheric town of Killarney and play at Killarney Golf Club: With three courses set in some of the most stunning country-side – some would say it is the most picturesque golf in the land – it is not hard to see why. This is the first club in Ireland with 54 Championship holes to test the skills of any golfer.

Firm fairways and true greens are the hallmark of these courses: You are free to play either the Killeen, Mahoney’s Point or Lakabane Course.

Overnight in Killarney.

DAY 6:

After Full Irish Breakfast it is time to travel along the picturesque Ring of Kerry route to the town of Waterville.

Play Waterville Golf Course: Golf has been played here since 1889 and the links course still offers a real challenge to golfers of all levels today. Every single hole on the course is a gem. The front nine are relatively sheltered but you are left in no doubt about the test ahead when you reach the 9th, also known as the “last easy”, especially since there was nothing easy about the course so far.

Waterville features consistently in lists of the World’s best courses, usually close to the top, and is a must for anyone keen to experience true links golf.

Second overnight in Killarney.

DAY 7:

Full Irish Breakfast at your hotel and today you reach the highlight of your tour. This morning you will transfer to the small Kerry town of Ballybunion to play Ireland’s most famous golf course Ballybunion: the original golf course is over 100 years old and was designed by Robert Trent Jones. The list of famous people who have played Ballybunion includes President Bill Clinton, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els and many more.

“I am now of the opinion it is one of the best and most beautiful tests of links golf anywhere in the world.” - Tom Watson famously once said.
